Virgil Renzulli
Vice President, Public Affairs
Arizona State University

Virgil Renzulli is Vice President for the Office of Public Affairs at Arizona State University and is responsible for media relations including community, local and state government relations, public events, and KAET/Eight, Arizona’s premier PBS affiliate. Before coming to ASU in 2002, Renzulli was associate vice president for public affairs at Columbia University and prior to that was assistant vice president for public affairs at New York University.

Formerly he served as director of public information for the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and the university's medical center. He has also worked as a newspaper reporter and editor, and as a high school teacher and coach. He has written three novels, "Caliburn," "Beyond the Edge of the Universe," and "Kaleidoscope."

He earned his B.A. in political science from the University of Pennsylvania and did graduate work in marketing at the Wharton School, film at Temple University, and creative writing at NYU.
