Dr. Roy Flores has been Chancellor of Pima County College since 2003.

Prior, Dr. Flores was president of the Community College of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh, president of Elgin Community College in Illinois and executive vice chancellor of the Virginia community college system.

Dr. Flores earned a bachelor’s degree in social science, a master’s degree in economics from Indiana State University and a Ph.D. in economics from Iowa State University.

Dr. Flores serves on the boards of TREO and the University of Arizona’s School of Dance. He is a member of the Southern Arizona Leadership Council, and the Tucson Breakfast Club. Dr. Flores also serves on the boards of several national higher-education organizations, including the Community College Baccalaureate Association.
