Lawrence M. Hecker is a principal in the firm of Hecker & Muehlebach, PLLC. He focuses primarily in the areas of corporate law and securities regulation, real estate, business start-up, capital formation transactions, corporations, corporate finance and, on a selective basis, government relations.

Hecker is an Assistant Adjunct Professor at the University of Arizona, College of Law teaching Entrepreneurship Law. 

Hecker received a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona. 

Hecker was on the Board of the Arizona Department of Transportation and Chief of Staff to Governor Bruce Babbitt.  He has served as Chairman of the Securities Regulations Section of the State Bar of Arizona, and is a member of the Securities Regulations and Business Law Sections of the State Bar of Arizona.

Currently he is a member of the Executive Committee of Desert Angels and the Tucson Airport Authority. Hecker is Chairman of the Pima County Bond Advisory Committee, TREO Economic Blueprint Steering Committee, Idea Funding, Downtown Tucson Partnership, and Arizona Economic Resources Organization.

Hecker was selected best Lawyer of the Year for 2010 in the area of Corporate Law, and presented with the Tucson Chamber of Commerce “Man of the Year” Award for 2008.
