Global Investment Recovery, Inc. Acquires New Tucson Facility

Tucson, AZ (March 1, 2007) -- Global Investment Recovery, Inc. (Global), an international recycler of computers, telecommunications equipment, consumer electronics, and classified military electronics, has completed the acquisition of a 44,000-square foot facility at 820 S. Euclid Avenue in Tucson, AZ. Global will provide electronic recycling services to existing customers and other potential customers located in the southwest region of the United States. The Tucson facility is the seventh recycling operation of Global, joining other operations in Tampa, FL, Aiken County, SC, and Reno, NV. Dave Gallaher of Tucson Industrial Realty is the broker.

Global expects to invest $3 million into the facility and begin production in May 2007. Global plans to employ 85 individuals at full capacity. The recycling of 20,000 personal computers, up to 15,500 monitors, and other products will be processed at this location. Recycling these electronics reduces the harmful materials sent to landfill, reduces the necessity to remove similar raw materials through mining operations and provides recyclable plastics -- replacing the need for new petroleum-based products.

“We are very excited and proud to grow into the vibrant Southwest area with our latest processing facility, bringing our company’s recycling knowledge, methods and techniques as well as providing new jobs for the Tucson area,” said David Ritter, President of Global. “Our recycling processes will prevent over 15 million pounds of electronics from being dumped into our landfills or beautiful mountain- and desert-scapes.”

“We are excited that Global is committed to making Tucson, Pima County and the State of Arizona a new home for one of its facilities. We look forward to the company becoming one of our outstanding corporate citizens,” said Joe Snell, president & CEO of TREO.
