The Desert Resort Lifestyle

Tucson’s crisp high-desert air, sunny climate, and exceptional air quality make Tucson the picture of health and a healthy lifestyle.

Tucson is the ideal environment for several top-ranked health and spa retreats,
Miraval and Canyon Ranch, as well as alternative health centers. And of course, with over 300 days of sunshine and all kinds of natural and man-made amenities, a healthy, active, and fun lifestyle is par for the course (of which there are many!).

The culture is a unique blend of Western, Mexican, and Native American influences. Tucsonans enjoy everything from symphonies to rodeos, modern art to Wild West shootouts.

Dining is diverse and delicious, with restaurants ranging from world-renowned gourmet to some of the best Mexican food this side of the border.

The intriguing landscape of the desert gives way to majestic mountains in every direction, making Tucson a paradise for anyone who loves the outdoors. Hiking, biking, and exploring are favorite Tucson activities.

And golfers enjoy some of the finest
courses anywhere, from challenging target golf to traditional layouts. The sunny weather keeps the outdoors available year-round.

Then there’s Tucson’s healthy attitude toward life. The pace is relaxed, the dress is casual, and the manner friendly. The Tucson region is also a favorite destination for meetings and events. There are spaces available for almost every size group and convenient lodging in every price range. Whether you are here on a
business trip, vacation or to live, Tucson is a fabulous place to relax.

At more than 600 square miles, metropolitan Tucson is a study in contrasts. Historic adobes are preserved among downtown high-rises; resort hotels are nestled in picturesque foothills; cacti bloom in the center of the city; desert washes flow after occasional desert storms; and those who tire of poolside lounging can drive 30 miles up Mount Lemmon to ski in the cool mountain temperatures.
